What is Family Dhikr?

Family Dhikr is a free online dhikr counter by Farishta. A family or group creates a shared room, everyone taps to count, and the total updates live for everyone toward one goal, such as 12,000.

How do I count dhikr together with my family?

Create a room, choose a dhikr and a goal, then share the six-character room code. Each person joins with their name and taps the plus button. Every tap is added to the shared total in real time.

Does it work if my family lives in different countries?

Yes. Rooms work across the globe. Anyone with the room code can join from any phone or computer with a browser, and everyone sees the same live total.

Do I need to download an app or create an account?

No. Family Dhikr runs in the browser on iPhone, Android and desktop. You only enter your name to join a room. An iPhone app from Farishta is in development.

Which dhikr can we count?

Rooms come with common dhikr such as SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah, Astaghfirullah, Salawat, Hasbunallah, Ya Salamu and Amman yujibul-mudtarra, each with Arabic, transliteration and meaning. You can also add your own custom dhikr.

Can I see my own count as well as the group total?

Yes. Switch between Group and Personal to see the family total or just your own taps. The progress bar always shows the shared goal, and you can hide it or the member list to avoid distraction.

Is Family Dhikr free?

Yes. Family Dhikr is free to use, with no ads.
